I was in Italy with my sister in ’89. I was there for 2 weeks- she stayed for a year. I am looking forward to the day that I can go back with my sister and see all of the places I didn’t get to see last time. We had the best time touring around and staying in small hotels and eating the wonderful food and drinking the wine. Can’t wait to go back and find Pizza Fantasy in Rome- best pizza ever!
How true about the farmer’s market. In Italy most are not actually farmer’s markets – they still go through wholesalers for most of their wares, but that too is changing. The whole idea of having daily or weekly markets outside and near my house is what attracted me and kept me here. The Farmer’s Market in Madison, Wisconsin was practice.
