Ciao Sharon,
It is nice to hear “love.” That surely makes casalinga special. Thank you for telling me that.

What kinds of foods are often made for cucina caslinga? I saw that many people does as the woman does, but I wonder whether other types of foods are made as well.

Ciao Kuei-Ti,
Casalinga simply means home cooking. Soups, pastas, meats, vegetables–anything cooked in the house is casalinga, and usually wonderful because it’s prepared with love.

Oh my, this is amazing! I want to move to Calabria and have my mother promptly follow me there. At the very least, I’d like to meet Mr. Martino — I’m sure he’s able to sneak bites of all of that delicious food. Only in Italy!
