Making Ravioli with Lehigh Valley Style

Posted January 31, 2012 by Sharon 2 Comments

(Left to right) Meghan Decker, Caley Bittner, and editor-in-chief Lisa Gotto of Lehigh Valley Style magazine join Sharon in her kitchen.

Cooking with style is a constant goal of mine but, recently, I got to literally cook with Style.

Lehigh Valley Style magazine Editorial Assistant Meghan Decker e-mailed to ask if she and some colleagues could participate in a SimpleItaly Learn-and-Dine class. We conferred and decided to make two types of ravioli.

A video of the resulting afternoon of flour-filled fun—plus recipes for Cheese Ravioli with Sage Butter and Luganega Sausage Ravioli with Porcini Cream Sauce—is on the magazine’s web site.

Grazie mille, LVS.

You really rocked the ravioli!

Greetings. I have just found your blog through ‘who knows what link’….. I continually surf the internet for interesting blogs about Italy and yours magically popped up. I love your direction and connection to all things Italian. My heritage is Italian and I have recently obtained my dual citizenship. After closing my retail store some months ago I have begun a blog and a new life that will hopefully include lots of travel to Italy, a sustainable community garden in my home town and many new adventures. I am happy to become a follower of Simple Italy.

      Ciao Lisa,

It is so good to meet you. I briefly visited ladolcevilla.net. It is lovely. Are you the photographer?
I look forward to following your delicious adventures.
